The Crisis in Turkey

TERRIBLE DISTRESS IN ASIA

100,000 ARMENIANS STARVING

REVOLT IN ARABIA

THE TURKS DEFEATED

LONDON, Nov. 18.

Terrible accounts have been received from Armenia and Asia Minor respecting the state of destitution existing in the districts that have been devastated by the Turks and Kurds.

It is stated by Armenians that 100,000 of their countrymen are dying from starvation and exposure, as their crops and houses have all been destroyed.

The Armenians in London have asked the Duke of Westminster, who has taken a prominent part in the movement in favour of English intervention on behalf of Armenia, to petition Her Majesty the Queen to grant immediate assistance to the unfortunate sufferers.
