Fearful Massacres in Armenia

ATROCITIES BY TURKISH IRREGULAR TROOPS

TWENTY-FIVE VILLAGES PILLAGED

THREE THOUSAND PERSONS KILLED

WOMEN AND CHILDREN SLAUGHTERED


LONDON. Nov. 12.

The Daily News this morning publishes an account of a series of fearful massacres which are alleged to have been perpetrated by Turkish irregular troops in Armenia.

It is stated that the troops sacked and pillaged 25 villages, murdering all the inhabitants, men, women, and children, who came in their way.

Altogether 3,000 persons are said to have been slaughtered by the Turkish military hordes.
